Author talk: Deborah OBrien to visit Hurstville City Library

Deborah’s book, Mr Chen’s Emporium explores the lives of two very different women, born almost a century apart, who become connected in the most poignant and timeless ways.

Mayor of Hurstville, Cr Jack Jacovou is encouraging the community to come along to this author talk that celebrates the resilience of the human spirit and the enduring power of love.

“Mr Chen’s Emporium is an enchanting tale that is sure to have wide appeal amongst book lovers of all ages,” he said.

“With the holiday season just around the corner, I’m certain it will make a great summer read.”

Deborah is a local resident who shares her time between her home in Oatley and a country cottage located in rural New South Wales.

She will sign copies of her book at the author talk. The book will also be available for purchase at the event.
