Georges River Council is inviting all music lovers across the local area to attend the final Music at Twilight Concert for 2016 at the St George Bank Auditorium on Wednesday 5 October 2016.
Hosted by Council four times a year, the Music at Twilight Concerts have featured some of Australia’s best musicians and entertainers right in the heart of the Kogarah CBD.
In this Concert, the Sydney Concert String Ensemble returns with a classical performance titled Highly Strung.
The concert program will include a balance of well-known pieces such as Annen Polka by Johann Strauss and fun pieces such as Anderson’s Sandpaper Ballet and Jazz Pizzicato .
All of the string players in this concert play regularly with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra and even the Australian Opera and Ballet Orchestra.
