Discovery Festival of Community Arts celebrates opening with colourful art show

Mayor of Hurstville, Cr Vince Badalati invites the community to come along and help support the 2015 Discovery Festival of Community Arts.
Mayor Badalati said that this was a great annual initiative which explores the multicultural elements of our great city and promotes its diversity.
"This Festival showcases local community arts programs and projects around our local government area which contribute towards community wellbeing," he said.
"It aims to inspire, challenge and celebrate the diversity of our community whilst building access, participation and bridges of understanding through creativity endeavor."
The official opening of the 2015 Discovery Festival of Community Arts and 2015 MHAD Art Exhibition will be held at Hurstville Museum & Gallery on Saturday, 10 October 2015 at 1.00pm.
