Georges River Council is now preparing its first Community Strategic Plan, which will identify the priorities, aspirations and vision of the local community for the next 10 years. andnbsp; As part of the process, Council invites members of the community to share their thoughts, ideas and vision on what they believe the Georges River area should be like. andnbsp; Members of the community will be able to share their thoughts in a variety of ways, including via surveys, scheduled information sessions and pop-up stalls that will be set up across each of the areaandrsquo;s five wards. andnbsp; These surveys, information stalls and pop-up stalls, which will be run by Micromex Research and Cred Consulting on Councilandrsquo;s behalf, will greatly assist Council in understanding what are the most important issues and priorities of community members for the local area. andnbsp; It is important that everyone participates as it will better help develop Councilandrsquo;s Community Strategic Plan, which will set the strategic direction of Council for the next ten years. andnbsp; From Wednesday 9 August, representatives of Micromex and Cred will be active within the local area conducting face-to-face and phone surveys with members of the local community. andnbsp; These surveys will also be available online for anyone wishing to participate. andnbsp; Please see below for additional information on where Micromex and Cred Consultingandrsquo;s pop-up stalls will be based throughout the local area. andnbsp; Should members of the community want more information about Councilandrsquo;s Community Strategic Plan or about the engagement process, please contact 9330 6400 or visit www.georgesriver.nsw.gov.au. andnbsp;POP-UP STALLS andnbsp;Hurstville WardWhen: andnbsp;Saturday 19 AugustWhere: Hurstville Westfield, Level 3, located outside of Flight CentreTime: 10.00am-12.00pm andnbsp; When: Tuesday 22 AugustWhere: Memorial Square, Forest Road, HurstvilleTime: 10.00am-12.00pm andnbsp;Kogarah Bay Ward When: Saturday 19 AugustWhere: Kogarah Library, Kogarah Town Square, Belgrave Street, KogarahTime: 2.00pm-4.00pm andnbsp; When: Saturday 26 AugustWhere: Beverley Park Golf Course, 87a Jubilee Avenue, Beverley ParkTime: 10.00am-12.00pm andnbsp;Blakehurst WardWhen: Tuesday 22 AugustWhere: South Hurstville Shopping Centre andndash; in front of IGA, King Georges Road at the intersection of Connells Point and Greenacre Road, South HurstvilleTime: 2.00pm-4.00pm andnbsp; When: Saturday 26 AugustWhere: Carss Bush Park andndash; near Carss Park Cafeandnbsp;andamp; Grill, Carwar Avenue, Carss ParkTime: 2.00pm-4.00pm andnbsp;Peakhurst WardWhen: Thursday 24 AugustWhere: Riverwood Plaza, 247-267 Belmore Road, RiverwoodTime: 11.00am-1.00pm andnbsp; When: Friday 25 AugustWhere: Chivers Hill Shopping Centre andndash; public space in front of Pharmacy, LugarnoTime: 11.00am-1.00pm andnbsp;Mortdale Ward When: Thursday 24 AugustWhere: 97 Mulga Road andndash; Outside of Edmonds and Greer, OatleyTime: 3.00pm-5.00pm andnbsp; When: Friday 25 AugustWhere: Mortdale Railway Station, Corner of Morts Road and Pitt Street.Time: 3.00pm-5.00pm
