Hurstville City Council celebrates 2015 Seniors Week

Mayor of Hurstville, Cr Con Hindi today announced that Hurstville City Council will host a program of events in recognition of 2015 Seniors Week.

Mayor Hindi said Seniors Week (14-22 March 2015) is an opportunity to celebrate the outstanding contributions seniors make to community life.

“In Hurstville City, approximately one-third of our population is aged 50 years or over, with more than 20 per cent aged 60 years or over,” he said.

“This year’s Seniors Week program includes a special luncheon, NSW Art Gallery events, community dance events, photographic exhibition and much more.

“I encourage you to take the opportunity to be inspired, participate and learn something new during Seniors Week 2015.”
