Hurstville City Library annual book sale returns

Posted 26 October 2010 by (Hurstville News)

The sale includes hundreds of fiction and non-fiction books in paperback and hardback, along with magazines.

Mayor of Hurstville, Cr Philip Sansom said money raised from the sale will fund the purchase of new library books and resources.

“The items available for purchase have either been donated, or are not being borrowed much anymore,” he said.

“The stock is diverse and includes children’s materials and Chinese, Spanish, Arabic language magazines and books.

“I encourage local citizens to come along be part of the library’s annual book sale as it is a chance to snap up some great books to read over the summer holidays.”
