Hurstville City Library annual book sale returns

People of all ages are invited to come along and pick up a bargain at Hurstville City Library’s annual book sale from 8-9 November 2013.

Mayor of Hurstville, Cr Jack Jacovou said the sale includes hundreds of children’s books, fiction and non-fiction books, magazines, CDs and DVDs.

“Chinese, Korean Russian, Japanese and French language books will also be available to buy,” he said.

Mayor Jacovou said money raised from the sale will fund the purchase of new library books and resources.

“The items available for purchase have either been donated, are superseded stock or are no longer being borrowed,” he said.

“Prices start as low as $1.00 so come along and dig around to find something special to enjoy for the summer holiday break.”


Prices: Children’s books $1.00, Magazines $1.00 (sold in batches of 5), CDs and DVDs $2.00, Fiction $2.00, Non-fiction $3.00. Special items prices as marked. Dates: Friday 8 November 2013, 9.30am – 8.30pm
Saturday 9 November 2013, 9.30am – 3.00pm Venue: Hurstville City Library, corner Queens Road and Dora Street, Hurstville Please note: All sale items will be available for purchase on Friday. Stock will not be refreshed. First in, best dressed!
