Hurstville Museum & Gallery is presenting a vibrant new exhibition titled ‘T3: Travel, Tea, Teapots’ from 6-28 September 2014.

Mayor of Hurstville, Cr Jack Jacovou said the exhibition will highlight the creative talents and flair of local artist, Karen Hannon.

“This exhibition showcases Karen’s passion for collecting new teapots and teas, particularly through her travels across the country and around the world,” he said.

“T3: Travel, Tea, Teapots presents a colourful variety of artworks, many created using tea as a medium, as well as a mix of Karen’s ever-growing teapot collection.

“The artworks are a collective mix of watercolour, ink, pencil and charcoal works and intertwine Karen’s three passions - travel, tea and teapots.

“I invite everyone in the community to come along and explore this colourful exhibition.”

The official opening of T3: Travel, Tea, Teapots will be held at Hurstville Museum & Gallery, 14 MacMahon Street, Hurstville, on Friday, 5 September 2014 at 5.30pm.

The exhibition will run until 28 September 2014.
