Ray Martin to visit Hurstville City Library

The popular personality will speak about his extraordinary journey and sign copies of his recent autobiography Ray: Stories Of My Life .

Mayor of Hurstville, Cr Philip Sansom said many people were unaware that Ray endured a challenging childhood before his rise to fame.

“Ray lived in 13 places in three Australian states before he even reached high school, with his mother regularly uprooting the family to escape a violent husband,” he said.

“His world was far from glamorous, before he went on to become the face of The Midday Show , A Current Affair , 60 Minutes and Carols by Candlelight.

Ray: Stories Of My Life is a much-anticipated and frank autobiography which charts his exceptional career, happy marriage to Dianne, and huge popularity with the people of Australia.”

Ray will sign copies of his autobiography at the author talk. The book will also be available for purchase on the day.
