School holiday activities @ Hurstville City Library

Mayor Sansom said the library branches will host games, storytelling and craft sessions as part of a January school holiday program, from Tuesday, 5 January to Thursday, 14 January 2010.

“The library understands that energy and creativity are vital ingredients of inspiring youth-centred programs,” he said.

“I encourage our young library members to come and enjoy fun and thought-provoking library activities this summer.”

School Holiday Activity Program details:

Tuesday 5 January
Summer’s a Beach
Surf’s up at the library. Beach Stories, games and shell craft
10.00am – 11.30am. Cost: Free
Penshurst Branch Library
Bookings directly at branch

Wednesday 6 January
Holiday Story time
10.00am – 10.45am. Cost: Free
Hurstville City Library Children’s Area
No booking required

Thursday 7 January
Wacky Weaving
Stories, films and paper craft weaving for all skill levels
10.00am – 11.30am. Cost: $2 refundable deposit
Hurstville City Library
Bookings at the Information Desk

Tuesday 12 January
