Posted 19 January 2015 by (Hurstville News)

Hurstville small business operators will have the opportunity to meet with a business advisor when the Small Biz Mentoring Bus returns to Palm Court car park, intersection of Forest Road and Treacy Street, Hurstville on Friday, 30 January 2015 from 9.00am to 3.00pm.

Mayor of Hurstville, Cr Con Hindi is encouraging small business owners to come along and take advantage of the free professional business advice on offer.

“It’s really important for small business operators to assess what they are doing in their business on a regular basis so they can continue to grow,” he said.

“Council is delighted to have the Small Biz Mentoring Bus return to Hurstville City as it will offer a great opportunity for local businesses to speak face-to-face to professionals to further equip their business for success.

“The bus also provides an avenue for local businesses to get connected to support services in the greater St George region including BEC Southern Sydney.”

Mayor Hindi said the Small Biz Mentoring Bus provides mobile information and mentoring services.

“In addition, it is part of the Small Biz Connect business advisory program, funded by the NSW Government, and people who visit the bus may be eligible to participate in additional meetings with a business expert free of charge,” he said.

This project is an initiative of Small Biz Connect and supported by Hurstville City Council and BEC Southern Sydney.
